NTC’s proprietary plasmid production technologies allow us to produce a wide variety of plasmid constructs with high quality and rapid turnaround. Research grade plasmid manufacturing services are available for Nanoplasmids, RNA-OUT vectors, and other client plasmids.

NTC will:

  • Transform client plasmid into production host

  • Create a glycerol stock cell bank using “low metabolic burden technology”; this cell bank is maintained at NTC at no additional fee for additional future orders of the same plasmid

  • Grow, and purify the desired quantity of pDNA, using endotoxin-free reagents and procedures

  • Formulate the DNA according to client defined specification (default is 0.5mg/ml in TE buffer)

  • Ship the purified plasmid DNA and provide a Certificate of Analysis

High Purity for Primary Cell Transfection

NTC’s High Purity Research Grade Plasmid process typically achieves <0.5 EU/mg, and was developed to produce plasmid for primary cell transfection (for example nucleofection into T-cells). Primary cells are very sensitive to trace bacterial contaminants present in standard plasmid preps and removal of these trace contaminants is recommended to avoid innate activation/toxicity for such applications.
